How services are delivered
Nothing is shipped: every Smart Scholars service is delivered online. Here is where you receive it and how quickly.

Where you receive it
In your account on the site you ordered from — Journal Audit, GetIndexed, DOI Doctor or one of the Smart Scholars doors. Reports, files and certificates are opened and downloaded there; work done in your journal's own systems, or at Crossref, is shown there with what was changed.
When work starts
When payment is received, unless the order says otherwise. A card, UPI or net-banking payment through Razorpay is received at once; a direct UPI or bank transfer is confirmed by our team, usually within a few hours on working days.
The Journal Audit report
Most reports are delivered within 24–48 hours. A website that blocks our crawler has to let it in, or give us a login, before the audit can run; if it still cannot be read, the audit is refunded in full.
Every other service
In the time stated on the order or the quote, before you pay. The free tools answer at once, on the page.
Work that waits for your approval
Nothing is deposited at Crossref, sent to an index, written to your journal's website or posted on its accounts until you approve it on the page. The time you take to approve is not counted against us.
What is outside our control
Our part of an indexing application — preparing and filing it — is delivered in the time on the order. The index's own review then takes as long as the index takes, often months, and its decision is its own. Crossref, archives and other registers also work on their own timetables.
If something is late
Write to us or ask on WhatsApp — Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 India time; the Ask AI button answers at any hour. If we cannot deliver what was ordered, the Cancellation & refunds page applies.
