Now Being worked on
The DOI Registry towards appointment
Working towards appointment by the DOI Foundation as a DOI Registration Agency. The registry's policies, its quality procedure, its own Handle server and its nightly continuity copy are in place. More →
1 January 2027: the DOI System Metadata required
From that day a new DOI is registered only with a record that carries the DOI System Metadata its kind of work needs, as the policies (version 1.1) set out with 90 days' notice. More →
Next Planned
An invitation checker for authors
Paste the invitation a journal sent you, and see what the public record says about that journal, its ISSN and its links — the evidence, never a verdict.
A journal finder built on trust
Journals that have published work close to yours, only those rated A or B, with the charges they publish.
Indexing facts in the Trust Rating
Whether a journal is indexed where it says it is, starting with MEDLINE.
Your watched journals on your dashboard
The journals you watch on Scholar Shield, on your own dashboard, with what changed.
Two of our sites side by side
For example DOI Doctor beside GetIndexed, in one window.
Later Intended
A continuity agreement for the registry
The registry's nightly copy lodged with a third party, so that every DOI keeps resolving whatever happens to us. It will be named on the governance page when it is made. More →
